Advanced Wheel Throwing Class

Description

This advanced wheel throwing class builds on fundamental skills, taking your centering, throwing, and trimming techniques to the next level. Master control and precision while exploring advanced glazing methods to finish your pieces professionally. Prerequisites: Students should have completed at least two introductory pottery classes before enrolling. This class is not suitable for those new to clay work.

Clay may get on you, so dress accordingly. Closed-toe shoes are required for safety.

Classes run for 8 consecutive weeks. Week 7 is kiln firing — no class that week.

The studio handles all kiln firing. Once your pieces are ready we'll be in touch to arrange a pickup time.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation windows are calculated from the start date.

Full refund

Cancel more than 2 weeks before the class starts and receive a full refund, minus a $20 admin fee.

Class credit

Cancel between 2 weeks and 4 days before the class starts and receive a credit toward a future class. No cash refund.

No refund or credit

Cancellations within 4 days of the class start date are not eligible for a refund or credit.
